There is a profound connection formed when you prepare a meal using ingredients harvested just yards away. This summer, SHAL Farm is launching a new series of culinary workshops designed to bridge the gap between our fields and your dinner table.
Harvesting Fresh Ingredients Side by Side
Participants begin the workshop by walking through the production rows alongside our kitchen team, gathering crisp garden herbs, heirloom squash, and sun-ripened berries at peak maturity. You will learn how to identify optimal ripeness and harvest with minimal impact on the plants.
Creating Seasonal Flavors Together
Under the guidance of guest chefs, guests will prepare a four-course seasonal menu inside our historic timber barn. The evening finishes around a long dining table under warm string lights, celebrating community, craftsmanship, and fresh food.
